Some folks have noticed in the past few days that Justin Bieber has been sporting a slight representation of a mustache. No, it really can’t be called an actual mustache, but is more closely related to a sparse crop of dark peach fuzz. Why doesn’t the Biebs simply shave it off?
According to a report from the L.A.Times, Justin is well aware that his mustache isn’t anything to write home about, but it seems he isn’t doing it to look more manly. He’s actually making the attempt to grow a mustache to raise money for ‘Movember,’ which is the campaign to raise funds and awareness of men’s health issues–one of which is prostate cancer.
When the “Baby” and “Under the Mistletoe” singer appeared on The View last week, it seemsWhoopi Goldberg took notice of the rather pathetic ‘stache and asked what it was all about.
“End of November I’m gonna shave it,” Justin Bieber said after explaining why he was making the futile attempt, “… and then it’ll take another year and a half to grow back.”
At least he has a sense of humor and isn’t afraid to laugh at himself. And he likely knows that others are laughing at his peach fuzz as well. Justin Bieber doesn’t care, it seems. He’s a good sport and he’s doing it for a good cause.
